dining room mural

In January 2026 a lovely client (who is also now a very close friend) asked me to paint something for their kitchen / dining space. They moved into the property in 2024 and have gradually been adding their own personal style to make it feel like home. She mentioned how she couldn’t find artwork to fit the space on the chimney breast in the dining space and wasn’t sure what style to go with. When we started chatting about a mural she was super excited to feature some of her and her partner’s favourite things. They love travelling to France and especially love hosting friends and family for feasts at their dining table. The mural combines a lobster (Matilda’s favourite!) along with a patchwork of other foodie imagery, coffee, tomatoes, eggs, bread! We went for an abstract design in warm oranges, pinks and browns. It makes the space feel so special and I’m so pleased they love it!
